“ Recently, a friend treated me to lunch here. I'd never been before, and we had a lovely time together. She ordered us a small "white pie," which was quite a generous portion, in my view. And it was so delicious! : ) I had two or three slices, as I recall, and I was truly full! The service was fast, friendly and professional. (My friend perhaps received a particularly warm welcome, as she has been frequenting this place for decades, and just loves it.) “ I came here with my brother this past June for a quick lunch before the NYC Pride March. Since we had our dog with us, we ate outside, and our dog was provided his very own bowl of water. My brother and I ordered four slices of pizza, three plain and 1 mushroom, to have amongst the 2 of us. It was a lot to carry, so the woman behind the counter ended up helping me out. As for the pizza, it was just what I needed! Piping hot and the perfect amount of crisp. It's really good pizza for a good price. Definitely would recommend! ”

There was plenty of space inside for people to sit down and take your time. I ordered a cheese slice and was surprised when I received a massive slice that fits well over the paper plate it comes on. Great crust. If you like a cheese-forward plain pizza, this is the type of pizza for you. Would go again for the value and ambient seating if I was around! ”

“ So here's the deal: When you think Pizza, this is probably what you have in mind. It's delicious. It's hot. It's cheesy. And when delivered, it's still all of these things. The only drawback is that it doesn't feel healthy. But maybe that's how it's supposed to be. Maybe there's a trade off with salad. Maybe that one star I shaved off is worth eating... cause after all, it was in fact delicious. ”
“ I will admit that I only came here because it was the only sit-down restaurant that was open in the area around 10 pm. For my dining experience, I went with the stuffed mushrooms and chicken piccata. The stuffed mushrooms were pretty much on point, but I found the chicken piccata a bit too lemony for my tastes. The service was pretty good because the waiter constantly checked in on me. While I would not go out of my way to dine at Italian Village Pizzeria, the food was ok, especially for late-night dining. For this review, I'd probably give the food a 3.5 and the service a 4. ”
